Course Description

The Rahini Yoga Home Study Program has been uniquely created to suit the needs of both the inexperienced and experienced yoga student. The Home Study Program has been designed for the:

• Person new to yoga who wishes to learn about yoga and how to practice or teach yoga.
• Practicing yoga student, with some yoga experience, who wishes to learn more about yoga and how to go about formulating this knowledge of yoga.
• Teacher of yoga who wishes to deepen their understanding of yoga as well as enhance their yoga practice and teaching skills.

The yoga home study program allows for the student to learn yoga at their own pace, time, and convenience. This program teaches the student how to teach yoga to others; it covers the history, philosophy, practice and skills needed to confidently teach yoga.

As part of the program, the student is provided with a "Rahini Yoga Home Study Guidebook" which contains an easy-to-use Tutor Guide. The Tutor Guide is designed to aid the student with their studying by acting as a teaching and learning tool. This Tutoring Guide contains reference illustrations or visual cues which provides the student with specific studying instructions. The reference illustrations results in time efficiency for the student by emphasizing the main points of each chapter in the three Rahini Yoga Teacher Training Manuals. Furthermore, the Tutor Guide creates an environment where the student can gain success in not only their understanding of yoga, but also in attaining their Certificate of Completion.

Having completed all four modules and passed the final examination, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion of the Home Study Course in Rahini Yoga sm.

This course forms an excellent foundation for anyone wishing to take our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification Program or the Yoga Therapy Teacher's Certification Course.

While not compulsory, The Rahini Yoga Institute strongly recommends the student attend the "Basic Rahini Yoga Weekend Workshop Intensive." This supplementary yoga workshop will deepen the learning and understanding of Rahini Yoga sm. The student will receive Yoga Teacher Certification upon completion of this weekend course.
