Section I: 160 Hours

    • The Remaining Training Hours for Level 4 are derived from -

      • Part 2: "Foundation of a Rahini Yoga Teacher"
        • Rahini Yoga's "Code of Ethics"
          A copy of the Code of Ethics will be given to every student for review. Each student is expected to read, study, and follow the guidelines
        • Precepts of a Rahini Yoga Teacher
          Each student is expected to study and memorize each precept
        • Philosophy of the Rahini Yogasana
          Each student is expected to study and understand the philosophy of the Rahini Yogasanas
        • Principles of the Rahini Yoga Posture
          Each student is expected to study and understand each principle
        • "Seva"- means community, volunteer, or selfless service- 10 hours. During Level 4, the student is required to share the Seva experience with the other students in training
        • Understanding the Different Dimensions of your Students' Safety
          The Rahini Yoga Teacher must be able to identify all aspects of creating a safe yoga environment for their students
        • Living a Yogic Lifestyle
          Includes the importance of "discipline"
        • Rahini Yoga Practice
          Includes a consistent home practice
        • Traditional Yoga Studies
          Assigned traditional yoga readings, discussions, or projects (this can vary from student to student). The specific traditional yoga readings, or assignments, are not discussed in detail until the student has met the following criteria:
          • Completed the Level 3 training
          • Thoroughly studied the 3 Yoga Teacher Manuals
          • Thoroughly studied The Rahini Yoga's Code of Ethics, Precepts of a Rahini Yoga Teacher, and the Principles & Philosophy of the Rahini Yogasana
          • Maintained a consistent Rahini Yoga Home Practice

          Note:
          This means that the Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 student is not expected to know any of the specific traditional readings, nor its content (except what is provided in the Rahini Yoga workshops and teacher manuals), until they have met the above criteria

Section II: 40 Hours

  • Yoga pose practice
  • Reading & writing assignments
  • Take-home examinations (on the required readings)

200-Hour Yoga Certification Requirements

  • The following requirements have to be met to receive the 200-Hour Yoga Certificate and eligibility for the National Yoga Registry - Yoga Alliance
    • Completion of all 200 training hours
      • It is the responsibility of each student to keep a detailed log of the 200 hours of training in their own special stitched notebook, such as a composition book
      • To receive the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, a copy of the 200 documented hours must be given to, and approved by, one of the Directors. The Directors will not return this copy.
    • Pass written, oral, and practical examinations
      • When writing assignments are required, each student must submit one copy to the Directors, and keep one copy for their files. The Directors will not return the copies.
    • Have demonstrated that you are following and growing in your Yoga lifestyle
      • Throughout the course, each student is expected to maintain a course journal documenting their learning experiences.
    • Tuition paid in full
